NEBC Staff

NEBC Northboro provides area baseball players, coaches, and teams, private instruction in all disciplines of the game. Our experienced instructors bring many years of high school, college, and professional experience to our instruction offerings.

Ted Novio

Ted was a 4 year pitcher at the University of Maine – Orono prior to coaching at UMaine for 5 years. Ted has also coached in the prestigious Cape Cod League, in Great Britain with Major League Baseball International, and is in the Cranberry League Hall of Fame for his years with the Braintree While Sox. The past 18 years, Ted has coached travel baseball, most recently with the New England Ruffnecks where his teams have won 3 National Championships.

Jason Kosow

Jason pitched for Babson College leading the NEWMAC in multiple categories. He is Babson’s all-time leader in saves and strikeouts. Jason was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 27 th round of the 2004 MLB draft and spent 4 years pitching in the Cubs system. Jason has been coaching travel baseball for the past several years and has made a tremendous impact on his pitching staffs.

Andrew Collins

Andrew was a starting catcher at Babson College. The 2007 graduate led Babson to the NEWMAC championship game before falling to Wheaton in the finals. The hard-working Collins is an outstanding catching instructor paying attention to fine details and skill development. Andrew has been the director and a lead instructor of the NEBC Gedman Catching Clinics with Rich Gedman and Chad Epperson of the Boston Red Sox.

Brian Chaput

Brian comes to the NEBC after pitching professionally in Independent baseball. The tall LHP played collegiately at Eastern Connecticut State University and Quinsigamond C.C. The past few years, Brian has been coaching travel baseball most recently with the New England Ruffnecks. Brian will be the head coach of the 14u team in 2017. In 2016, his 14U Ruffnecks recorded an incredible 55-7 record including being crowned CABA World Series champions.
