Brian comes to the NEBC after pitching professionally in Independent baseball. The tall LHP played collegiately at Eastern Connecticut State University and Quinsigamond C.C. The past few years, Brian has been coaching travel baseball most recently with the New England Ruffnecks. Brian will be the head coach of the 14u team in 2017. In 2016, his 14U Ruffnecks recorded an incredible 55-7 record including being crowned CABA World Series champions.
Michael Gedman enters his fifth season at the helm of the Rams baseball program in 2018. In 2015 Gedman led the Rams to a school record 27 wins finishing the year with a 27-19 record. Prior to joining the Rams, Gedman spent the previous four seasons as an assistant coach at Division I Bryant University.
As part of the Bulldogs staff, Gedman was the hitting coach in addition to leading the recruiting efforts. Gedman played his collegiate ball at Le Moyne College before transferring to the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where, in his junior year, recorded 13 multiple hit games and six multiple RBI games and ended the season by being named to the Atlantic 10 All-Tournament team. Gedman led the Minuteman pitching staff in 2009 with a 2.42 ERA in 22.1 innings of work as he made 15 appearances, all in relief.
Gedman, who played two seasons for the Worcester Tornadoes and a season for the Rockland Boulders of the CANAM league, has worked at the Rich Gedman Baseball Camp as well as serving as an instructor with New England Ruffnecks Baseball.
